Traditionally the walls construction has no mortar and the stones are carefully chosen for size and shape by the skills of the craftsman who will lay the stone in such a way that the rainwater will drain through the wall naturally.

Cotswold Stone Tiling is now being regarded as a drying trade with very few craftsmen left with these skills. Seal Construction has an outstanding reputation as Cotswold Stone Tilers, tiles are secured using the traditional method of battons and pegs and each roof is guaranteed for 25 years.
